With such a prestigious project only a stone’s throw from our own factory, Hazlemere were naturally keen to be involved in the manufacture and installation.
The new windows and doors for the impressive apartment building being constructed in the centre of High Wycombe by award winning developers, Inland Homes.
Hazlemere’s own design team were involved from an early stage, assisting the team at Inland Homes and the project architects through the design phase to ensure the best outcome be achieved with the approved window and door systems.
Technal’s Dualframe 75 si tilt before turn aluminium windows were proposed, featuring acoustic trickle vents, EDPM surrounds, head flashings and cill pressings.
Technal Dualframe aluminium doors were selected for all the balcony doors and the building design also incorporated Elegance 52 ST curtain walling with solar control glass. Steel fire rated doors were provided to ground floor areas. Auto opening vents (AOV’s) were installed into communal areas which are designed to release smoke in the event of fire. The project also required PAS 24 enhanced security locking to all ground floor and easily accessible areas all in accordance with Part Q, with the benefit of Secured by Design certification.
Working during the COVID pandemic the team had to flex to the needs of Inland Homes, and after delivering to programme Hazlemere were also awarded the project to install Profile 22 UPVC windows and doors to two further blocks on the same development.
