Hazlemere Named As Principal Contractor On Cottesloe School

Hazlemere Commercial are delighted to have been appointed as Principle Contractors on a £260,000 + VAT refurbishment scheme to rennovate a large educational block at Cottesloe School in Bedfordshire.

The requirements include some fairly major works to two long elevations, both of which include Hazlemere Commercial re-enforcing the existing structure with bespoke cross-bracing steelwork and the manufacture and installation of replacement white gloss powder coated double glazed commercial aluminium windows and commercial aluminium entrance doors.

Cottesloe School is located on Aylesbury Road, Wing, Leighton Buzzard, Beds, LU7 0NY, but comes under the juristriction of Buckinghamshire County Council. Andrew McBurnie, Headteacher states on the school’s website that “The Cottesloe School is a vibrant and challenging learning community. Our students benefit from highly qualified and exceptionally committed staff, who recognise the importance of creative and challenging teaching and high professional standards. Our curriculum has carefully designed pathways to make sure it meets the needs of all our students. It provides an excellent range of options in GCSE and A Level qualifications supported by a range of vocational courses.”

The replacement commercial bespoke thermally broken aluminium window and door products ordered by Bucks County Council for this block at Cottesloe School are Sapa DF 75 Si casement windows and Sapa STII commerial entrance doors. These thermally efficient replacement fenestration products will all be manufactured at Hazlemere Commercial’s 38,000 square foot factory on Cressex Business Park, before being installed by their dedicated commercial fitting teams.
