AluK’s Aluminium Steel Framed Replacement Window System

AluK’s double glazed aluminium window systems are available from approved AluK manufacturers and installers Hazlemere Commercial in casement, tilt before turn, parallel opening vent, fully reversible and steel replacement window formats, as well as varying levels of performance and frame profiles, providing the configuration to meet any project’s requirements.

Focusing on the latter of these formats, the AluK 58BW ST powder coated aluminium double glazed window system provides an ideal slimline solution for the replication of existing steel windows. The system is available in a range of styles and can be top, bottom or side hung to meet the needs of your project. The design replicates the narrow sight lines associated with steel windows whilst providing superior performance and security.

The 58BW ST range has been developed to retro fit blocks of residential flats, warehouses and similar buildings where steel windows have been traditionally been fitted in the past. The AluK 58BW ST aluminium window range is available in a wide variety of standard colours as well as any RAL colour and includes hardware that is sympathetic to traditional steel window designs.

Accommodates 24mm to 32mm deep glazing units for thermal and acoustic performance. Available in single or dual colour option, polyester powder coating and anodised finishes. The system has an internally beaded option for extra peace of mind security wise, plus integrated deep head profiles for ease of trickle ventilation, should this be required. The 58BW ST offers a choice of window configurations, namely fixed lights or bottom, top, side hung and outward opening vents.

The 58BW ST system uses standard hardware including friction stays and shoot bolt locking and safety features. This double glazed slimline aluminium window system has been tested to PAS 24 and certified under the Secured by Design scheme. It is ideal as a steel replacement window, whilst delivering excellent thermal performance and aesthetics.
